They found the one American who does not remember where he was on that day—a guy who then goes on to make up blasphemous lies about what he was doing that day, even—and chose him to be at the center of our attention on grave occasions, leading our national ceremonies, addressing words to us in our name, laying our wreaths at the tombs of our dead.
